Execution of passive fire protection works in the construction of warehouses in the town of Mijas (Málaga).

The warehouses located in the polygon of San Rafael, will occupy an area of 3000 square meters, including a large basement area that will be dedicated to parking.

These fireproofing works have been undertaken on the structure of this industrial building, protecting the load-bearing metal elements with R60 intumescent paint.

We highlight the coordination in the execution of the fireproofing works, where we adapt at all times to the deadlines set by the project management.

In this project, the contractor with whom we collaborate to carry out the fireproofing works is the local company Sasma Construcciones.

Project: passive fire protection with R60 intumescent paint in logistics center.

Localization: Martos (Jaén).

Contractor: They know constructions.

Materials: intumescent paint, plastic paint and enamel in different colors.

This warehouse built in metal structure and prefabricated concrete plates, will have offices and equipment for logistics warehouse.

In a first phase, we executed the works of the fireproofing of metal structure with intumescent paint R60 and R30, in different thicknesses.

After the completion of the fireproofing, we take care of painting the concrete plates that make up the enclosures and the façade with white plastic paint.

Finally, we also apply enamel paint on the gates, façade pillars and other metal elements.

The colors applied to each element are chosen by the technical management of the project.

This project is developed by Sabán Construcciones, which counts on us to execute the passive fire protection game in its entirety.

Project: firewall strip in machinery repair shop.

Localization: El Ejido (Almería).

Promoter: Gabaso Machinery.

Materials: fire strip (rock wool mortar and nervometal mesh).

Passive fire protection works in repair shop and manufacture of industrial machinery in Almeria.

The workshop is located in an industrial warehouse built with a metal structure, which requires passive protection in its medianería.

Our work here consists of installing a firewall strip in meeting of deck and medianería, in addition to protecting the rest of the medianería of separation between ships.

The material used in both cases is rock wool mortar, projected on nervometal mesh and dividing sheet.

As shown in the images, the ship is fully operational, so we must cover the industrial machinery with plastic to carry out the work.

Project: passive protection in warehouse for storage of spices.

Localization: Alhama de Murcia (Murcia).

Promoter: The Well Feeding.

Contractor: Sacyr Construction.

Materials: intumescent paint and compatible enamel.

Our job is to protect the metal structure of the warehouse that will house a spice warehouse for the factory.

To protect and fireproof the load-bearing elements, the use of intumescent paint has been chosen.

Subsequently , an enamel compatible with intumescent paint has also been applied in those areas where the project required it.

It is worth mentioning the effort to coordinate and meet deadlines with the other work teams.

Localization: Villamuriel de Cerrato (Palencia).

Contractor: UTE Parque Villamuriel (Dragados – Zarzuela).

Materials: fireproof mortar based on plaster and intumescent paint.
